Dawud Ansari is a researcher and PhD fellow at the German Institute for Economic Research, Dept. Energy, Transport, Environment. In both national and international projects, he works on numerical optimisation for energy systems, petroleum economics, and energy-related issues in the Middle East. Founder and executive head of the Energy Access and Development Program, Dawud is teaching the course “Energy and Development Project” at our department since 2015. The work is collaboration with the micro energy systems group. Dawud holds a master degree in mathematical economics and has studied at TU Berlin, HU Berlin, and Johns Hopkins University.
